BACKGROUND: The South St. George's
Welfare Association (SSGWA) was founded by Grenadian Mrs. Ann
Hopkin, a long-time nurse and resident of New York City
who retired in 2002 and returned to Grenada.
Her personal mission is to give back to her homeland and
to serve the most needy residents of the island through the
use of her own skills in nursing as well as through people who
share her vision of service and the value of helping others
less fortunate.

Surgeon for over 20 yrs. A member of NADMA (National Disaster
Management Agency). Volunteer in assisting in health
fares and providing free dental services to many children and

Mr. Jeff Schrager
Mr. Schrager is an Airline Pilot for American
Airlines flying Boeing 737 aircraft to a variety of domestic
and international destinations and volunteers his time
helping others less fortunate. He has been involved in
relief work in El Salvador and became involved in
Grenada following Hurricane Ivan. Mr. Schrager
lives in Fresno, California where he also is involved
in local charitable projects such as building homes with
Habitat for Humanity and recruiting pilots for the
Flying
